Program Format and Expectations:
NC Farm School meets every other Monday once a month generally from March through June. Half of the day will be in the classroom and half the day will be visiting farms nearby. Our goal is to meet in new county each month so that participants get a feel for what Cooperative Extension is like in various counties and the kinds of farms that have had some success in North Carolina. We ask that participants attend 3 of the 4 sessions and complete a business plan as defined by the NCFS program in order to be considered complete for the hours of business planning training we provide.
