“Go to NC Farm School. You learn how to build a farm that makes sense, not just one that looks busy. You get to see real farms, talk to real people, and figure out what works before you spend the money.” -Recent NCFS graduate Timothy Davis, far right, with is wife, front, and grandchildren behind.
Program Format and Expectations:
NC Farm School meets one Monday a month from March through June. We will meet in the counties extension center for half a day for three training modules and see 2 surrounding successful farms in the remaining half. We ask that participants attend 3 of the 4 sessions and complete a business plan as defined by the NCFS program in order to receive a completion certificate.
